I am a graduate student at the University of California, Santa Cruz. My primary research focus is the search for indirect signals from dark matter annihilation in the universe, and my thesis advisor is Stefano Profumo. My most recent work has concerned methods for disentangling signals from dark matter annihilation at the center of the Milky Way galaxy from the many astrophysical background sources which are also present in this dense region of space.
From 2010-2011, I was a visiting graduate student at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory working with Dan Hooper. From 2004-2008, I was an undergraduate at Northwestern University, where I worked under Vicky Kalogera. In July 2013, I will be moving to the Kavli Institute for Cosmological Physics at the University of Chicago, where I will be an Einstein Postdoctoral Fellow.
